Soooo.. After 5 fabulous weeks in New Zealand it’s time for me to move on again. Tomorrow morning my airplane departures from Auckland to Adelaide. It has been a wonderful time around here in New Zealand. I’ve done heaps of stuff here, more than I had ever imagined in the first place. Eventhough I wouldn’t mind spending some more time around here, it’s also nice to go and check out some more of Australia.
The last days at the Bay of Islands were really nice. I went kayaking in the morning which was a quite nice experience. Then after the kayaking I went mountain biking. I rode around the Paihia for about 2,5 hours to some waterfall somewhere deep on the countryside. Afterwards I returned back to the hostel and I had a very easy night. The next day I went to the beach and had a bit of a swim. At about 16:00 the bus left back to Auckland. I arrived there somewhere in the evening around 19:30. I had a couple of drinks in Auckland with some people I met in the Bay of Islands.
The next day I met up with a girl, Sheryl, who I met on the flight from Tokyo to Sydney. It was really nice to see her again. We checked out Auckland and went to the Auckland Aquarium and the Zoo. Later on I went with her to the island she lives on. We had a pizza at some restaurant and later on we went to her place to watch some tv.
The next day, the final day, I have just been wandering around the city, nothing really special. I have to save my energy as I have to go to airport at 2:30 AM later on.
