After a long day in Auckland, I arrived at the airport at 3:30 in the morning. I was really really tired and I fell asleep right after I entered my seat. I didn’t even notice we were taking off. I slept throughout the whole flight and somewhere early in the morning I arrived in Melbourne. There I had to clear through customs and then I had to catch my domestic flight to Adelaide. After arriving in Adelaide in the late morning I went with a shuttlebus to my hostel which I pre-booked back in Auckland. There I met a nice guy from Brisbane who happened to be here because of the annual “sports games for policemen and firefighters”. He happens to be a firefighter so that explains.. He told me he was heading for the beach and I decided to join him. We went together with a canadian girl he met earlier. After some talking I found out they wanted to go to Melbourne as well later on through the Great Ocean Road. We decided to go together and to hire a car.
But before heading there I decided to book me onto a trip to Kangaroo Island, the reason why I wanted to come to Adelaide in the first place. I found out it is quite expensive to go there but I decided to go anyway. My coach leaves today at 15:15. Then I’ll stay for 2 days on Kangaroo Island and then I’ll return monday to Adelaide. We decided to go to Melbourne on tuesday, so everything should work out pretty well.
