Change of hostel..

After a few wonderful days in the best hostel you would probably ever find, WakeUp, I unfortunately need to move to another hostel. I wanted to extend my stay in the WakeUp hostel once again, but unfortunately all rooms were fully booked so I had no other option than to find me anoter one. The hostels WakeUp suggested were all fully booked. In the end I’ve found a very cheap hostel nearby, but it’s one of the worst you would ever imagine. It feels like living in some kind of ghetto. I am in a 4-dorm bedroom, which is smellier than the socks I am wearing for a few days. When I entered the room I was really asking myself where I had gotten myself into. I am glad I booked for only 2 nights, because it’s truly terrible. It’s actually quite a shock going from the best hostel in the world to one of the worst. I’ll have to deal with it anyhows, and at least I’ve got a place to sleep. Besides, I am going to make a riservation at Wakeup for next saturday. That way I’ll just have to survive these two nights in the ghetto one.

Yesterday I went out to make some pictures of the city. I’ve uploaded them onto my blog here, so you’ll all be able to check it out. While I was near the operah house, there was a guy juggling with torches and knifes, so I thought I to take a peek. Next thing I know is the guy inviting me to help him in his show. So there I was standing next to 3 other people out of the crowd assisting this guy. We had to lay on the ground and the guy was juggling with knifes on a bike driving in circles around us. It was really a bit emberrassing in front of all the crowd, but it was funny in a way as well. The guy had a lot of humour and made a real nice performance out of it. The show took about an hour and in the end I gave the guy 5 bucks since he did a really nice job with his stunts. I’ve also taken a picture together with the guy which you can check here in my blog as well.
Later on it started to rain a bit, so I hooked up with a couple of guys from England and Ireland to buy some food at the supermarket. We decided to cook us rice’n’chicken with some sweet-sour sauce and green beans. The food was truly brilliant. Later on, as usual we went to the bar downstairs for Happy hour (1 pint for $2,50 = €1,50).

That’s about it for now… I’ll keep you all updated 😉
