It’s the fourth day here in Sydney and I already feel truly at home here. The weather has been nothing but excellent and I’ve seen lots of things already and met a lot of people as well so far.
I am staying at the wakeup hostel now and I simply love it! I am staying at a room with 7 other people from both England and Canada. Yesterday I’ve been to the beach with two canadian girls and an english boy who are sleeping at my room as well. We went to a beach called Bondi beach and it’s absolutely fabulous! White sand, Crystal clear water and really hot weather. We had a really nice time at the beach talking about a lot of stuff and doing some swimming. Later on we went to eat an icecream. Then we headed back to the Center of Sydney to have a peek at the Harbour bridge and the Operah house. Earlier that day I proposed to cook us some pasta, since it would be a lot cheaper than eating out all the time. So went bought us some spaghetti and some pasta sauce which costed about 5 bucks.. which comes down to roughly 1 buck a person (0.70). After getting back to the hostel I had a shower and later on we went to cook pasta which was really fun. The spaghetti was really good. Later we went down to the bar to have a couple of drinks. So far I’ve been going to the bar down my hostel every night, which I shouldn’t keep up all of my holiday since I’ll run out of money way too soon. But for now it’s fine and I figured that there will be plenty of quiet nights ahead of me, so I better enjoy it while I can.
I am planning to go to Bondi beach again today and take my camera with me to make some excellent pictures of the beach and stuff.. It looks truly amazing.
