The few days in Brisbane were quite relaxing. I didn’t do awfully much, went to the gym and checked out the city center… And went to the beer brewery of XXXX, a big Australian beer brand. We had a tour through the brewery and we learned something about the history of beer and how it’s made. It was pretty nice to see how the brewery worked and how everything is being packed into bottles and cans. Afterwards we were able to taste 4 of their beers in the bar which was included into the ticket. Good for us was, that most of the people on the tour only wanted 1 beer, so they gave their vouchers to us. Afterwards I went out to a techno party in town where Lisa Lashes was playing. It was a nice night and I got home quite late. The next day I went to check out the city mall and took some pictures of the city. I also booked the rest of my trip, including a 4×4 self-drive safari to Fraser Island and a Sailing trip on the Whitsunday Islands.
Then the trip went on to Noosa, a little bit more up north from Brisbane. A really nice chilled out place right on the beach. The hostel we were staying at was really nice as well, every two rooms had their own bathroom, tv-lounge and kitchen. The first day we arrived we had an easy night, cause the next day we were going to Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo. Unfortunate for us, the only day I’ve had rain so far, was exactly THAT day. It was pooring down like mad.. But it was still great to be in the zoo, checking out all the animals, feeding kangaroo’s, patting koala’s, just great fun! Later on it stopped raining, so in the end it was alright. The whole zoo is full of posters and pictures of Steve Irwin, it was a great day. That night we went out to check out town, but there wasn’t much going on.. Now the trip goes on to Rainbow Beach, where we’re going to depart to Fraser Island!
